I received my Masters in Social Work in 1983 from Boston University, and have been in private practice as a psychotherapist serving adults for over 25 years.  I am currently licensed in Colorado as a Clinical Social Worker, Colorado license # 992969, and practicing in Boulder.

Although I am primarily an individual therapist, I am also familiar with working with couples as well as groups.  My early training is in ego psychology and traditional long-term psychodynamic treatment.  I have also had alternative training in feminist therapy, Gestalt, hypnotherapy, psychodrama, and spirituality and mental health. 

My approach is an eclectic, individualized one, based on my client's needs.  I can be directive and give feedback if desired, or I can guide you to find answers within yourself.  My expertise as a therapist is in the areas of women's issues, depression, anxiety, bereavement and surviving childhood abuse and neglect.
